I did NOt gain any weight yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though I we went to our friends house again for dinner, I once again filled up on carrots and hummus and a granola bar. But there I ate 1 chappati, 2 small pices of chicken and a small slice of choclate cake :D I am super happy!!!!!

The river is rising, but there is too much snow still on the banks. Starting next week, There a thousands and thousands of filled bags just waiting to be placed. The river is going up fast.

I vote against Chantix, I mean do you hear all those problems that possibly can arise. I don't know if it is better to smoke or take Chantix. But I have found that if you find a project that you love and do that more then smoking, you will become proud of your work and stop smoking!

My biggest obstacle is Sweets anything Sweet is my down fall. Hopefully you can over come your obstacles and loose the weight you want too. Nice pic by the way!!

Hi, I just join!........ I am just so ready to start seeing pounds shed away. I am sitting here @3 am with hunger pains, I've been trying this health kick for close to a month. It is just getting hard each month I still haven't gotten use to the healthy stuff and that why I need support so when I have tough times like this I have a corner of motivation.

Welcome! We're here to support each other, so just ask! Remember, a healthy lifestyle is a journey, not a destination, so don't get overwhelmed trying to do too much at once. Do you know how to finish a Marathon? (1) put one foot forward (2) put the other foot forward (3) repeat for 26.2 miles. That's what we're doing, taking one step at a time, and just not stopping. Little changes add up, losing 1 pound a week is losing 50 pounds a year.

It was warm today, but rained, so I couldn't get my walk. However, being the resourceful person that I am, I went out in the rain with a bucket of soapy water and washed my car, letting the rain rinse it off. Had to be good for a few burnt calories. :)
