Minimum objective quality: The video (1) must be captured digitally and not with film, (2) must be continuous, without splicing or breaks or any sign of doctoring, and (3) must be fluid (i.e., it cannot be a series of still photos).
Minimum subjective quality: HealthyWage personnel must be able to easily see and understand what is happening in the video. Low quality videos will be treated with suspicion (there is no reason why an honest video should not be perfectly clear).
The video should be around 35 seconds. For ease of uploading, we recommend that teams make a separate video for each team member.
The video must include the following sequence of five video shots.
Film a newspaper to show today’s date. If you don't have a physical copy of a newspaper, pull up a news website on your computer or tablet. Hint: acceptable sites such as the New York Times or The Washington Post have date stamps in the header, underneath their logos.
Please note: You do not need the "date" shot if you are shooting the video using the HealthyWage App for iPhone or Android. It is required for all other video verification submissions.
Zero the scale and weigh-in while zoomed in on the display.
