In order to meet her goal, Jennifer decided to make her food intake a primary focus. “Your body counts calories, whether you do or not.” However, that didn’t mean removing all her favorite foods, but rather limiting them in moderation. “Instead of saying ‘I can’t have this,’ I would watch my portions.” In addition to tracking her food intake, Jennifer incorporated weight training and cardio into her workouts and immediately noticed a difference, not just on the scale, but in her appearance and mindset as well.
Asked if she’s happy she did the HealthyWager challenge and Jennifer will burst out a loud YES! “I feel more in control of what I’m eating,” states Jennifer. “This 6 month challenge allowed me the time to learn things that I hadn’t learned before because I was doing short-term diets.”
